on june 25, africa's first intelligent rail welding production line was officially launched in guinea's maxi railway project, marking a major progress in the maxi railway project undertaken by china railway group's china railway first bureau. the railway is the longest modern railway in guinea and will greatly promote the mining and transportation of the simandou mining area.
the production line adopts china's advanced automation equipment, such as un5-150g1 fixed flash welding machine, gdzh-120 rail heat treatment machine, which realizes the intelligent and green welding, greatly improving the welding quality and efficiency.
in the maxi railway project, the 25-meter standard rail will be welded into a 300-meter long rail through the production line, and then mechanized by china's new multi-functional long rail tractor. factory welding of long rail not only improves the laying efficiency, but also reduces the manpower demand and working time, reduces harmful smoke and dust emissions, and shows the advanced application of chinese railway technology in overseas.
